This image by Maggie Taylor is perfect to say Ciao for now. I will be back blogging as soon as I can check back in about a week and I am sure I will have a few stories to share.

Well the time has come, I will be boarding my plane tomorrow morning and the adventure will officially begin.

My new life as written by me :)

I have packed my suitcase and I hope it's not overweight. I have my reading materials for the plane and will try get my hands on EAT PRAY LOVE which I believe is a life changing book. I am hoping for a good seat on the plane and if luck is on my side to have at least two free seats next to me. I hope for good in flight movies, more drama then action would be nice. I hope to sleep as much as possible. shooooo alot of hoping ;)

I leave you to reflect on these words:

Moroccon Magic

Lotus Perle - Morocco
Jjane Tamsa - Morocco
Rhoul - Morocco
Caravan Serai - Morocco
Da Darma - Morocco

I had no idea Morocco had such wealth of luxury boutique hotels, the decor & style in these images are what dreams are made of. I can almost see myself prancing around in chiffon skirts & wraps with little bells and charms jiggling around my ankles. A fantasy land by no exaggeration I am sure.

Random Sunday

Yesterday was my farewell celebration, with just a few family and friends. I can't fully explain the feeling of being excited and terribly sad at the same time. I know have been blessed in my life because I have a wonderful family and good friends that have seen me through it all, the ups and the downs we have shared so much and they have stood by me ,to put an ocean between that is difficult, I love my mother and leaving her behind ,even if only for a while, is still just very painful.

But now I need look to the future have faith in my choices and embrace it's possibilities and all it has to offer.

The interiors above are the mastery of Keven Hawkins, not to be confused with Stephen Hawkins, different kind of space hee hee he.

I love the richness of the furniture pieces he selects, full of history & character.

"How you live one day is how you will live your life" Phillip Yancey

Before you settle into the hum-drum of Monday, try something new, something that brings you pleasure , perhaps tell some one you see everyday but forget to say the words "I love you " or "thank you"

Why not stand up from your desk and go over to the nearest window look out over the world and ask yourself what can you do today to be closer the person you always dreamed you would be!

Today I am doing all the things I have been avoiding, bank stuff, licence stuff, post suff , tax stuff YUCK! But to balance things out I am going to do some fun things as well. See an afternoon
movie and visit my friend Liesl.

Random Friday

Apologies for being so inconsistant on my blog, I have been a bit distracted by the Universe and it's secrets. I have had such a thirst for knowledge in the last few months and I have been reading like a librarian on crack. I just can't get enough. There is so much that we assume we know only to find out that we know nothing.
Feeling a little like someone who has not been paying attention in class I needed to catch up. So a book entitled "A short History of nearly everything" by Bill Bryson seemed to be the perfect place to start.
I am riveted. Which is so strange for a person with a creative overflow and scientic no flow :)
I highly recommend it for getting a good perspective on life from a biological point of view and helping you understand humanities place in the universe. He writes in an as lamen terms as one can get when discussing the make up of all things but perfectly comprehensible.

Thought I would do a random Friday of just images I like really because isn't that what these blogs are about?? Inspiration!

Kate Jackson

Stumbled upon this US designer, Kate Jackson, her work is beautifully layered and manages to grasp a deep sense of the client. Her work, for the most part, does not look perfectly manicured to be almost unliveable but rather fits into the needs of the people living inside the home.
I would like to wish my dearest friend Liesl, a very happy birthday!
